The Company:

You will be leading a brand new area of technical focus within the group and opportunity to take on responsibility from day one. The company have huge amounts of data in their field meaning that Data Scientists will have the opportunity to build models with sufficient quantities of data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art deep learning models for high-dimensional biological data, including imaging, protein datasets, and high-throughput screening.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate biological knowledge and scientific requirements into deep learning systems.
- Translate best-in-class and in-house developed methods into robust workflows and tools.
- Work with the deep learning team to assess and review new developments in deep learning systems.
Qualifications:
- PhD or MS with comparable work experience in computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, or mathematics)
- At least 2+ years industry experience.
- Specific experience with ML models for high content imaging is required.
- Experience with protein deep learning models is preferred.
- General experience with LLMs is preferred .
- Extensive experience with deep learning on biological datasets, including deep engagement with biological subject matter and validation.
- Hands-on knowledge of modern deep learning frameworks and their integration into production workflows.
